Heading to the beach...

Wow. I cant believe Ella says hi to me that is the most adorable thing ever! [we have a cardboard cutout of Dallin in the entryway and we have Ella say hi whenever she comes over. The other day she was crawling past it and she stopped and waved hi to Dallin and then continued on her way...]
That's sick that Wes hit a walk off double. Happy Birthday mom and Coll! 50 and 16!!! unreal!
I'm getting transferred to Vlissingen! I'm going to be with Elder England who was in my MTC group also I didn't know him to well though. Its crazy. I will send you the address next week cause I don't know it yet!

This week was awesome! We taught a lot this week and moved Solars baptismal date from July 13 to may 3 :) haha I wont be there but I'm so excited for him!
Coolest story of the week! We went to teach Tilow. and we brought a joint teacher with us who went inactive and was addicted to all sorts of things but has now found his way back and testified how the church helped him do that and he is was of the best members in our ward and really understands the gospel. So that was awesome and then we watched the restoration video and of course the spirit was there and after Tilow started clapping and said I believe the Mormon church is the right church! He still has to ask his dad but it was sooooooooooo cool and the spirit was there and it just made me happy :) that was true happiness :)
Another cool realization. A sister missionary who is going home sang how great shall be your joy. And I was thinking about D&C 10 and I thought about baptizing on the mission then I realized that when it says how great shall be your joy if you bring but 1 soul unto me... it just hit me. that one soul may be our own soul. Think about it. If we save our souls (of course we must help everyone we can) But our soul is just as important to Heavenly Father and anyone else. Make sure you have a strong testimony about the gospel and live it! If you aren't sure about something pray and ask Heavenly Father if its true! You will help a lot more people if you are set in the gospel :)
 I love you all!

a police encounter

Fam!

What a week! First I realized that Collin turns 16 next Monday... WHAT!!!!! Unreal! haha
So first we got the police called on us. We knocked one door in a neighborhood and it was an old lady. I think I told you about her last week. Well she tells us her son told her not to let us in. So we were like that's fine. People in the Netherlands have been taking advantage of the old people and they let them in then they steal stuff. So we weren't bugged or anything. Then the police show up and we tell them who we are and everything and the lady tells him that we had an appointment and everything. Then he leaves but he doesn't leave and the lady keeps talking to us and then he finally leaves and the lady was like Finally! haha and then she told us to go talk to people in another neighborhood :)
We were knocking doors another day and the name on the door says... H. V Buren! I was so pumped!! But the guy wasn't interested and he didn't know anyone from America... I'm sure he is somehow related though!
We then gave a presentation to 30 15 year olds for this thing called Reli pad. They have to learn about churches and stuff and that was pretty cool!
Solar came to church this week! he is doing super well!
We got a new investigator this week too!
We did an American pancake breakfast for the ward members. That went super well and the members loved it!
We learned about the book of Abraham at a fireside too from one of the ward members and that was sweet. I learned a lot that I had no idea about!
I want everyone to go make mormon.org profiles (Good Job Coll) they help the work a lot!!!
This week I was in 3 Nephi and I love that book! When Jesus appears to the Nephites... Talk about feeling the spirit. Chapter 17 is one of my favorites when Jesus has so much compassion on them and stays and heals them and prays for them. What a wonderful book we have to read from! Go read those chapters. They are amazing!!!
 I love you all!!

Service with a smile

Fam!
Wes that is so sick!! I'm so excited for you! I'm literally in the library crying :) haha I bet Ka is excited! Not the same mission but the same area!
This was kinda a crazy week. Our numbers didn't really show what went on!
We went on exchanges on Tuesday and I went with the Finnish Elder! haha Super fun and we did some contacting and made some appointments.
Then Wed. we exchanged back and then went and did some service for a part member family who is about to have a little girl. The husband served a mission but is now less active... He is super cool though. This is the same house we have been working on since Dec! Then we helped them again on Thursday! so a lot of good service this week!
We also taught Tilow again. The law of Chastity!  so funny to teach that sometimes. It went well though. He is coming to church this next week so that will be good :)
We also helped at a huwelijk and gezins avond [googletranslate: marriage and family night].  We served the food to the people and helped cleaned up and stuff. People are very grateful when you do little things like that. We probably could've been doing something more missionary like I guess but supporting the members is just as important! We have a lot of potentials who we will be going back to this week that may turn into investigators :)
Elder Lee is doing awesome! He speaks English and Chinese and now Dutch.  We need to find more Chinese investigators!  its a lot of fun! We joke around with each other a lot. He says tree instead of three so he gets that joke a lot and he's a good sport about it!
Not a very long letter this week sorry! :)
I just finished Helaman in the Book of Mormon and I love how much it talks about faith. That's how they overcame the adversaries! They had faith that the Lord would protect them!!! The Book of Mormon is amazing!!
 I love you all!!!
Love Elder Bosco!

and tell Cy and Lincoln to email me!

Don't know his name but we think Dallin should bring him home!

Agency and the Atonement

Fam!
We had a pretty great week! So much happens and then when I think back it went by so fast! its unbelievable!
We taught Tilow twice this week and he said he was going to come to church but when we went by his house no one was home and he didn't answer his phone... If there is one thing I have learned on my mission is about agency. We can do everything the Lord asks us to do and still not have happen what we want because they still have the choice to accept or reject! Its frustrating sometimes though! We taught him with Amaro who is a really awesome member that was baptized a year ago! they both love soccer so it was super cool. He has to still ask his dad if he can get baptized so we will see!
We also taught this lady from Macedonia and she is super positive. She doesn't always listen and she tells a lot of stories but she trusts us. She has told us so many stories that she said she hasn't told anyone. People just trust missionaries with all there problems and everything. Even Tilow told us some stuff that people just don't usually say. But this week she just started crying and telling us a story and she just cried. at first I didn't know what to do. I was thinking of what I could say. and then one of my favorite scriptures popped into my head. Alma 38:5. And then I testified of the Atonement. I love the Atonement and have gained a stronger testimony of it on my mission. I felt the Spirit while i testified and she may not get baptized but at least she knows how i feel about the Atonement and how it can help her. and she wants to come to church. It was super awesome.
We found a couple potentials that we will be following up on so cross your fingers :) haha
Then I went on splits on Saturday with the ZL's and I went with Elder Muse and it was a lot of fun he helped me a lot and gave me some great tips and it was awesome! We taught Nasuru an African that is Muslim but respects us and he asked muse about Jesus Christ or something. So them Muse testified of the Atonement and read a scripture about it and I felt the Spirit. So sick. He said he is going to come to church to when he is not so busy with school. But it was a pretty great week!
I'm in all the war sections in the Book of Mormon and I love how they have so much faith especially the 2000 stripling warriors. That is one of my favorite stories! They were obedient and were willing to risk their lives for their families.  So awesome that none of them died because the Lord was with them. Remember that the Lord is always with us when we do whats right and if we are willing to do what he wants us to do then we won't "die" and we will be preserved like the stripling warriors!
 Love you guys so much!!

It's True

Fam!
This week was a pretty standard week! Every week has its new challenges and new exciting things!
Simon left on Friday :( It was hard to say bye to him!
We are teaching a Chinese guy named Solar! He is super awesome. He doesn't really want to set a baptismal date until he knows everything but in the end he set one for his birthday on July 13th! haha I definitely won't be there but its still exciting to be able to see someone really want to find out :)
Elder Lee is doing great! He had already served in Malaysia for 10 weeks so he is basically only a greenie cause of his dutch :) He did hear of Elder Mix before the mission and said he was one of the most popular missionaries in Maylasia :) That's always good to hear! I bet elder Mix is killing it! I have no doubt he is! I'm so lucky to have the friends I did. all of us are serving missions! :)

[Elder Mix is his friend Jacob Mix that lives down the street and is currently serving in the Singapore Malaysia mission- I would love to find a digital map that I could post to show where all our friends are serving- does anyone know of anything like that?]

We also have another investigator named Tilow from Ethiopia :) He wants to come to church but he was playing soccer this week so he couldn't. But he wants to do everything to follow Jesus and he has to ask his dad if he can be baptized so hopefully all goes well! He is so awesome. All he wants to do is find if its true! I told him how and then he goes but how! its so funny. But he has accepted everything so far :)
The Book of Mormon is true. just from reading it and studying it I know it is. Its incredible. Its true.
We got let into a house this week while knocking doors and we were talking about the Book of Mormon and I felt the spirit while I was testifying. The guy didn't want to know more cause he was set on his religion but I testified to him. Its true. There is nothing else I need to say but its true.
I love and miss you all!

[Dallin is sending us his camera card so in the next few weeks we should have some great pictures to post on the blog. Until then to hold us over- he sent us these two..... haha.....the first one is a carrot that he thought looked cool when he cut into it... Can't wait to get the card!]
