A traveling week

Fam!
The numbers we got this week don't show the success we had! Nothing crazy like a baptism but Vlissingen hasn't had a baptism in forever. They had a excommunicated member just get rebaptized but no converts forever.
This week we didn't actually have that much time in Vlissingen. We still have to travel a lot. We had to go to Tilburg which about a 3 hour travel from the time we get the bus and the trains and the overstops its crazy. Then I had to go to Brussels this week to get my drivers license and That took all day haha but Brussels is super cool. And the best part is we set up a bunch of appointments with potential investigators so I'm super excited for this week!
I cant believe Wes is graduating! Happy Birthday on Thursday man! Time sure does fly by... its crazy.
So many times this week people told us that only the bible is needed. But that is not true! The Book of Mormon is true also! I cant find the words to explain how my love for the Book of Mormon has grown! I love it! 3 Nephi 11 is one of the most powerful chapters in the Book of Mormon. Read it! It testifies of Christ and every time I read it I feel the truth in it. Its amazing!!!

Sorry this is a really short email. I Love you all!

slowly but surely

Fam!

Elder Woltjen is my comp. He uses it to find relatives its his dads name. We had a pretty slow but awesome week. Elder Woljten has been really sick and lost his voice but he is doing better. He has been out 4 months and is a convert of about a year or so. So its really awesome!
We taught this lady this week and it went amazing. The spirit was guiding the whole lesson. Elder Woltjen couldn't talk so I gave the whole lesson and he was pulling out the scriptures. It just flowed and the lady (Tonnie de Grote) was awesome. She has a summer house in Amsterdam and so she is staying there until June 14 but she told me that she is going to go to the church in Amsterdam. And we invited her to be baptized if she knows its true and she said if I come to know its true then I will definitely get baptized. It was so cool!!! So so awesome and then before we said the closing prayer we asked her to pray and she said no but she said if I were to I would just thank Him that you came and told me this. I felt warmth and comfort and trust while you were here telling me this message! It was a miracle. One of the coolest experiences on my mission so far. It was great.
In D&C 123 verse 12 it said that people are searching and they just don't know where to find it. And the answer is in the Book of Mormon. That book has power. Its true and you cant know if its true or not without reading it and praying about it. SO DO IT. or as Nike would say just do it. It can change anyones life. Old or young. It doesn't matter because we are all children of our Heavenly Father. And he is just waiting for us to come back to Him. His arms are open and ready to receive us. I love you all.
Being District leader is awesome and the Sister Training leader is Sis nelson so I get to talk to her a lot which is super cool :)

(I bought a sick shirt for you today Collin its legit :) hahaha I love you all!!

Love Elder den Bosco

P.S. How is everyone doing with their 15 mins of daily Book of Mormon? Let me know when you write to me.

Short but oh so sweet email this week (following the long skype session yesterday)

[It was so fun to talk to Elder Bosco on Mothers Day! He looks so good and is so happy. We talked about a few different things so his letter today was really short. He said that they had transfers this week and was pretty sure he was staying. He told us that some of the members were taking him and his companion to a museum today. It is out of their area and takes a few hours to get there but they got permission to go. Here is a link if you want to see it too! Oorlogsmuseum.nl/. He told us some funny stories about rushing to make trains, eating really good food, and drunks that speak English like they are sober as long as they are drunk... haha. He also said their area spends more on travel than any other because they are so far away. He is by a beach but doesn't have a lot of the flowers like the inland areas. And, everyone in the country is excited about the World Cup. Sis Robinson (Mission Presidents wife) has invited all the missionaries to read the Book of Mormon for 15 minutes a day and pray about it. Dallin has invited us all to do the same.]

Here is his letter from today:

Love you so much! I am staying in Vlissingen and am going District leader :) I'm getting Elder Leon. I'm not writing a big letter today. I'm very excited to stay and help the others in the district. love you so much :)
We got home late from the museum so I can't email long - just a short love you :)

[We took a video of him bearing his testimony in Dutch. The high pitched scream in the background is Ella wanting the phone we were using to watch Frozen.....][yes-Alexis started us all crying]

[We miss you Elder Bosco but are so proud of your work!]

Temple Trip and Baptism!!

The Hague- The Temple in the Netherlands

Fam!
The temple was amazing! It is so cool to do everything in dutch!! I will tell you more about it next week! I will tell you all the little things when we skype. I think we are skyping around 5 hopefully that works! which is 9 your time.
So best story of the week. Solar got baptized in Apeldoorn. :) Elder Lee and I taught him and his baptismal date went from July 13 to May 3rd two weeks before I left :) I was so happy!!!!
We still have just been contacting like crazy and only finding a handful of people. But I noticed that this week I was contacting better I started letting God lead the contacts. We may not have had more success but I was testifying and people knew that I knew and that's the best part!
It was really cool to see Nicole Santiago cause we started talking to them and she goes where are you from and I say Provo and she looks at my tag and says I've been looking for you! haha it was so funny! It was great!
We also had interviews this week with President and its always nice talking to him and his wife. I love them so much!
I can't wait to talk to you guys next Sunday. The mission is amazing. Its one of the hardest things Ive ever done. But we can do hard things :) I know God loves us. I've learned so much on my mission. This is the truth on earth. God loves us enough to let us be a part of it. To let us feel the Joy he feels. There is no greater Joy then knowing you helped someone come to Christ. And that's what a mission does. I will never regret serving a mission.
I love you so much!!
Love Elder van den Bosco :)
